Do you belong to the American Pumpers Association?

Okay, so I thought I'd ask Al Bloom, the Director of Marketing at California Exotic Novelties, a question about one of Cal Exotic's advertising claims on some of their products that have allegedly been "endorsed" or "recommended" by the highly esteemed "American Pumpers Association." (Ever heard of it? I haven't!) But he didn't respond. Hmmm. . . could the illustrious "American Pumpers Association really be a fake organization?

According to reviews on this (and other) sites for Cal Exotic's Jack Master , the packaging for this masturbater apparently states that it was "just voted #1 masturbator by the American Pumpers Association."

So . . . let's see if we can find out a bit more about the APA! After all, I think that several of the fine reviewers here should certainly be card-carrying members! LOL! BTW, if the APA really exists, perhaps someone could tell us about their functions (hmmm, that could be interesting) or how they "test" their products.

Let's see what we can find out on our own . . .

I've never heard of this. Some super secret underground organization?

Maybe it's an undercover group I did a Google search for it and, interestingly, it always seems to be associated with Cal Exotics. Hmm...

Searches only reveal references to it as "recommended by..." and "awarded the best male sex toy award by...." but no info on the Association itself at all.

Hmmm.

Sounds fishy to me, if it was real I would love to be a tester.

Funny that it seems to be associated with Cal Exotics.

Yeah, it's interesting that the "American Pumpers Association" only seems to turn up in connection with Cal Exotics. Wonder why?

Can't imagine it's a real organization but would also love to be a tester and get to vote on the "best" products. LOL! Imagine what their conventions would be like . . . then again, they wouldn't be too effective as everyone would probably be too busy taking things into their own hands.

Hey, Al Bloom, the Director of Marketing at California Exotic Novelties, just answered the interview question! Here's his response:

"It's a small group of pump users who contacted us several years back. They are pretty much underground, but when we have a new pump, we send it to them and get feedback from them. I attended one of their meetings several years back, and they are legit...but, not at all interested in making a splash in the market. It took several years before they would even agree to endorse products."

Too funny! Wonder what their meetings are like? Guess they must have to get "all pumped up" in order to attend. Wonder "how many" members there are and how many products they test and endorse.

A secret society of masturbation enthusiasts?

Wow, I want in. I joined the Masons thinking it was going to be like this, but nothing "beats" the APA!
