Do you ever use a toy "right out of the package"?

Always clean it with a couple of wipes if its not waterproof and soak it in hot tap water with antibacterial soap for 20 min if it is waterproof.

Just because something looks "clean" doesn't mean it is. There's no saying what the manufacturing or packaging area is like in a factory.

I always clean mine first. I don't want to take the chance an infection no matter what.

I always sterilize any toy before use, but was wondering what other folks do.
Never- I always make sure it's thoroughly washed before it goes anywhere!

I have always washed toys before use.

I am very glad I have always done this. I read a review where the person returned an insertable toy because they did not like it, not because it was broken. Not sure how this person cleaned it before returning it or if they indicated it was used when it was returned. YUCK! I have a thing about using toys that others people I don't know have used.

I always clean it first to be safe. It's more sanitary I think even though the toy isn't 'dirty' fresh out of the box per se.

Some of the toys I use don't need to be cleaned...
You know, whips, paddles, handcuffs, bondage tape and rope...if it's going to go around orifices, sure. But if not, I'm not worried about it- and usually as soon as it arrives we are too horny to consider cleaning it first.
