I've always had problems with vibrations not arousing me, rather they usually make me itch like crazy or numb me out immediately.
I can always come in about a minute & a half just by touching my clit, but I don't usually want to come so fast & I still felt like I was missing something. Once I found a dildo that was comfortable, the fullness solved the missing something problem, even without thrusting it.

if i'm not solo then no i absolutely don't need vibrations. if i'm on my own it depends on how worked up i am. the majority of the time i use a vibe when alone. if I am using a vibe i prefer some major rumble. can't stand toys that have low vibrations or ones that the vibration isn't concentrated in the tip of the toy
