For me, when my boyfriend sucks on my breasts during my period, it makes me depressed on occasion (I'd like to note this isn't every time and it is in fact rare). No other area of my body while stimulated has this reaction though, and it's only during or right after my period. I have no history of depression, nor do I get depressed for no reason often. So, is this really uncommon, even if it is a rare occurance?

If I'm on my period, we aren't having sex (he's not interested), so not actual sex (more the idea of sex) makes me depressed!

The action of breast sucking releases several cocktails of hormones so it's no wonder that at times during a very seisitive time during your cycle you feel depressed...or even elated and drawn closer to your partner. It's a natural occurrance that most people never connect to a certain act!

i live in a dorm room at college and during my period i dont come home because its easier and i avoid lots of pms caused fight but lately in general my pms has turned more into depression

Makes sense! I just always found it weird that it's only my breasts that give me that reaction. It's only happened 3 times in my life. But, it was still cause for curiosity. Thank you so much for the response!

My ex girlfriend was like that. Her PMS could go anywhere from anger to depression. I was the only one who could snap her out of it; but it really does happen.
I've never had PMS myself, at least not to any degree that anyone has noticed; but anyway, I hope it gets better for you. :] *hugs*

My husband doesn't have sex with me during my cycle. We tried it once a couple months ago, but he's just not cool with it.
