Someone once told me: "If you touch it, it will fall off." So, out of mere curiosity and some concern, I was wondering how often other guys ejaculate. Since puberty I have wondered how often is too often, how much is normal etc.

Also, leave a comment and mention what ratio is a result of masturbation and, in contrast, intercourse. Sooner or later, I'll get to the bottom of this.

I think normal may be somewhat relative since some guys are able to ejaculate multiple times a day while others aren't. I'm interested in this so I'll check back and see what everyone says!

I'm able to, but it really depends on what's going on. That's why I said 2-6 times a week.

Myself, I'm in the daily category. If I go more than that, my sperm count is noticeably lower (and that ain't good if you hope for little ones). Also, things feels a little stiff when overworked.

On the other hand, I've read studies that suggest that sperm quality improves if the supply is repeatedly renewed through regular sex, but necessarily frequent sex. Thoughts?

Typically I do it multiple times a day. If I wake with morning wood, sometimes mid day, usually before going to bed. I've had some days of boredom where I've done it 7+ times. By that time I hurt >.< lol. I've also had points in time where I hold of for a week or more for various reasons: not really feeling like it, being too busy to, preparation for when partner comes to visit.

When I was still in middle school I had to do a science project and use articles to support. In a Discover magazine there was an article about regular masturbation being good. I felt dirty reading that article but I kept it to heart, that it would help my prostate.

I have a fairly high zinc diet for various reasons: supplements, foods, etc., so my body constantly keeps a fairly high concentration of cum. If I do it too many times without a little rest than it tends to lessen, but I've noticed if I edge before for at least 30 minutes to usually an hour or so than it's built up sufficiently and is a lot more satisfying.

Probably around 5-6 times in an average week. There are certainly occasions where it's more like 3-4 times in a day, but that's not typical for me.

research suggests that good honest masturbation, and lots of it, may help prevent prostate cancer in later life. So I would say, keep it up chaps - I know it's hard but it's good for you! I try to clear out my prostate as often as possible. Getting old now, but I still like to keep my hand in.

I'll answer for My Man as he has no interest in "Social Networking." *sigh*

We have sex on the average once or twice a day, sometimes, if he's really tired at night, he only wants to get me off, but he ejaculates about half the time at night now (he's older, too) and virtually every day in the morning. Missed this morning, as I had a tummy ache, (period early UG) but I am pretty sure we'll make up for it tonight.

I have found that the more often he ejaculates, the LESS ejaculate material there is. A few months ago, he had a "dry orgasm." I was givng him a BJ (after a very long session of sex, and the 6th time in about 36 hours) and he was getting a little soft and

P'Gell - it almost sounds like your guy just doesn't get enough chance to recharge (nice problem to have though)! Yeah, ejaculation is supposed to be great to keep the prostate healthy.

For me, it all depends on if I'm with my wife or not. If I'm not, then its usually once a day, solo and at night. If I'm with her, then it's multiple times a day. Once when we wake up, once when we get back home after errands and relaxing, and then at night. Sometimes it's more, sometimes less, but its always at least once a day.
