A good friend just got an STD from someone who "swore" had just had a full check up and was "clear" of everything....plus had not had sex in seven years. BULL.
Another friend...a DOCTOR, went to bed on a first date with a guy who claimed to also be a doctor. He obviously was pretty smart, as they talked "medicine" half the night. Only the next day did she find out that he was not only NOT a doctor, but in fact was a HIGH SCHOOL grad working as a mechanic. Would she have slept with him, knowing he was a mechanic? PROBABLY, is what she said "he was cute and really kept her entertained". The difference is that NOW, she does not TRUST him, at all, so she has NO desire to "ever see the jerk, liar again". HE blew it. Him being a mechanic didn't bug her. Him being a LIAR did.
