College as all about one-night stands, friends with benefits and "unrequited love" with girls who were out of my league socially (or at least thought they were).
I had a wonderful girlfriend in high school and we stayed together for my first semester at college. But I had no self-control (and was drunk most of the time, too) and I slept with pretty much anyone who'd sleep with me, which was really rotten behavior. I didn't feel so bad when I found out she'd been sleeping around, too. But I was still very sad when we broke up and spent the next several years wishing we'd stayed together.
At college, I found it really easy to get laid, but forging any kind of steady relationship proved impossible. At first, it was awesome, but by my sophomore year, I found it depressing.
