I've always made it a point to remember their names at least...for a couple years. Thinking back, some names are really fuzzy for me.

There is one guy that I don't know his last name, but I do know that if I needed to contact him, that I could easily find out his name through his cousin. He might have the same last name as his cousin, but maybe not. I never asked. There rest of my partners I knew very well. I had known most of them since elementary school. I never asked if my partners were tested, but I did always use protection until my hubby. I got tested regularly at family planning though.

I've known all of them very well before having sex with them, and I knew if they had been tested, but we used protection anyway.

I knew most of them very well and are still friends with most of them. I would say I didn't know 1-2 of them that well. I have only had 6 partners in the past 10 years.

I'm the type who really has to know/like a person before I want to have sex with them. That emotional friendship connection makes it so much better for me.

I have known them well. As for being tested I used protection and always get tested myself. Before I sleep with anyone it will be months anyways.

I take a long time to get to know my sex partners...and I tend to know them quite well before anything happens. I know their health status, first and last names and have usually met their parents!

Puh-lease! I know about 40 of my partners first names and that's about it. Ha Ha! Only kidding, I swear! Lol. I've actually been with my partner (we are monogamous) for 5 years and we've both been tested. I get tested yearly and my last test for all std's and HIV was only last month. He has been tested, but not as frequently as me. Mine come with my annual breast and pap exam and I always say yes to the HIV test although my GYN says I'm not "high risk" so they wouldn't test me except if I request it. I just like reassurance although neither of us have "strayed" and I'm sure of that. I know his name, birth date and about everything about him and his family. I know his age and all that good stuff.

I will admit... we weren't together for a whole month... or even a whole 24 hours before we did the dirty. Lol.

I've known most all of my past partners reasonably well beforehand, but there were a few that I most certaintly did not know more than a first name, which I promptly forgot.

Pretty much this. I prefer emotional attachments, but up until this season, I used to have a "Faire Fling" once a year at the Renaissance Faires I worked at. Some of those partners, I would only know by their Faire names. *shrugs* I always used protection, and didn't exchange any sort of bodily fluid (and that includes open mouthed kissing).

With someone I want to have a long term relationship and fluid bonding, I don't have sex with them until we have both been tested.
