So, I (unfortunately) really don't have any sex toy storage at the moment. Being a sex toy reviewer for almost 2 years now this is quite unfortunate. So, I've taken over one of the shelves in our bathroom. Well, last night my boyfriend looked at it and said in a mostly joking way "You have too many sex toys." To which I responded "You can't have too many!" His response: "If you say so." LOL

So, I'm curious, especially for other avid sex toy reviewers, what do you consider too many sex toys?

Um ..... I want to literally fill a trunk. Like a big old Travel trunk that they used to use for moving and sea voyages; the rich did anyways.


I think two of those would be too many. That would be like... a thousand sex toys. Probably more. It would depend on the size of the trunk and the sex toys I suppose. On the other hand.... I wouldn't mind a second trunk full of lingerie and costumes.

I would also like to add, that if all they are doing is taking up 1 shelf in the bathroom.... you have nowhere near enough.

What a coincidence! My toy collection has been growing at an alarming rate, so I've been looking for new storage. Over the weekend, my boyfriend and I stayed with his brother and his brother's boyfriend. We went down to the basement at one point, and I saw this awesome steamer trunk sitting there, and joked "Oh that would be perfect for my toys!" He said, "I'm not using it, so it's yours."

This thing is HUGE! It's kind of ugly, so I'm going to paint the outside a nice dark purple, (my favorite color!) and line the inside with a satiny material. I am so excited for my DIY project, I'll post pictures when it's done.

Anyway, I clearly voted You can't have too many, cuz I'm about to move my collection to a trunk, lol.

Well of the choices I have to say that you can never have too many! That being said..I do store away the ones that I am not currently enjoying most and I leave about probably 40 within easy enough access and they're all kept in different areas with I think 14 in one area being the most. I have 14 in my Devine Toy Box, I think 5 in a Devine pouch, 4 in another toy box, about 6 in my nightstand drawer and then the rest all in the top shelf of my husband's one dresser. The ones that are in the top shelf are the ones that don't really get used as much but I want them at least accessible. The ones that are stored away are in a larger box on our closet shelf.

I keep them separated in smaller numbers because otherwise they kind of all just get crammed into one and it's hard to really just grab the one I want and I find that only one gets used repeatedly while the others just sit there.

This all does not include "accessories" like position aids, slings, cuffs, lube and such. If I was to count up how much sex type stuff in all I have in our bedroom one would probably think it was some kind of brothel....

I'm jealous. Make sure you cover the brass buckles and whatnot when you paint. You can shine them up really nicely with brasso! My mom restores antiques... I know too much about refinishing things... oh man.

It's not too many... it's called Variety!!! Like French Fries, Mashed Potatoes, Baked Potatoes, Tater Tots, Au gratin, etc... French Fries are great but you don't want them allllll the time! You gotta mix it up a bit!

Oh I plan to, I have a list of things I need to do my little project, lol! I am so excited to get it all finished, and it even has a latch that fits a lock on it for privacy

I bet you could find a decent one pretty cheap at a Goodwill or consignment shop, I've just never thought to look.

I have too many sex toys.

For the new year, I've decided to whittle down my collection only to favorites - like gorgeous glass and my Lelo - and things I actually use on a regular basis.

I do not need 48 bullet vibes.

I do not need 27 1.5" diameter silicone dildos.

I do not, at all, need that rubber double dong I've been holding onto for sentimental reasons but wouldn't stick in the orifices of my worst enemies.

I do not need 34 bottles of lube.

And I do not need - DO. NOT. NEED. - that TPR rabbit that makes my cooch burn every time I use it. DO. NOT. NEED.

LMAO. I literally have filled two antique travel trunks! One of mine is circa 1930's and has many shipping markings on it. I got it at an auction. There are definitely not a thousand toys in there. Hundreds yes, but I save most packaging.

So I guess I have too many toys then? :p

And I have another trunk sized dresser for the lingerie.

I feel the same. I've downsized a bit recently and plan to more. I've been getting rid of toys that don't work properly and are of lower materials.
