My wife has a pair of 6" platform boots, but she will only wear them at home for erotic photos. She has quite a few pair of heels in the 5" to 6" range, again she will only wear at home for erotic photos. In public she prefers something more in the 3" to 5" range. This leads me to my question...

What is the tallest pair of heels or boots you own and wear out in public?

I have a lot of tall heels but I usually prefer to wear 3.5 or 4 if I'm going out and have to walk. I have some platforms that are around 5 that I can wear out but it's not my preferred.

I had to choose other because I don't wear heels anymore. I don't go anywhere that they are needed and I have a two year old to chase around. I do own a few pair in the 2.5-3" range but they haven't been worn since before I got pregnant! In my younger days I thought nothing of wearing 3-4" heels all day at work though.

I have some six inch heels that I have for special occasion and bar nights, but I haven't really worn them all that much. So much heel, it gets really hard to walk!

I have one pair of heels that's close to 6" that I would wear out more frequently if they were more comfortable. For work/most days, I stick with 4-5".

I do own heels all in the 5”-9” catagory..
I only wear them in the house for erotic moments,
The reason bieng when I go out I wear shoes, sandals, flats, etc. because my husband is a little bit shorter than me and I dont think a 5”6 man looks good with a 5”8 woman wearing 7” heels jejjejee the only heels I have worn in public are 4” and there jordans so I dont know if they are really considered heels.. I put I refuse to wear heels but I really just don't wear heels anymore. maybe if I went to places that make sense to wear heels. I'm more of a running shoe person. I might wear heels again some day.

It really depends on how thick the heel is. Chunky ones add more for your balance and are a little less daunting at first. Possibly suggest getting something she's actually comfortable with wearing and working up to a higher heel.

The tallest I own is 4.5 inches. I love love love heels, but I sustained an injury dancing that makes wearing heels that are too thin difficult.

Wow, I have no idea, I've never measured any of them! If I'm wearing nice clothes, I always have heels on, unless I'm ill or injured. I love wearing them so much, and like them in all their iterations. I'll have to measure them when I get home. I have a pretty wide variety of heights.

I bought a pair of heels that said they were 3.5 inches but it turned out to be 6.5 inches. Nightmare to walk in but really pretty. The highest I wear in public is 4 inches, that's my limit.

the tallest was 5 and that was for a wedding. i only like tall heels for in the bedroom. they hurt your feet way to bad, so i prefer shorter heels for out and about.

Mine are 6 and are actually one of the most comfortable pair I own.

3" and a thick heel, and that's my comfort limit. I generally prefer the 2" to 2&1/2" when out. I do own a pair of 5" stilettos, but I haven't touched them since one photo-shoot I did for former-Master in December, 2011. I feel like I'm falling over just standing in them.

I am damn near professional in heels. With enough theatre training, one learns to run in them.
However, I don't like wearing more than about 4 inches, preferably without a platform, but I do have one pair with a half inch platforms that I still love. Those super huge platforms make me feel like a horse when I walk. I have a long, hard stride, and they just don't work for that. I think I have maybe one or two in those styles, but they are for costumes.
