I love being naked. I covered all the windows in my abode just so I can walk around naked if I want, and not worry about people outside seeing me. I started sleeping naked sometime in middle or high school (around a decade ago), and I still love it. I'll admit I'm somewhat narcissistic, and being naked lets me enjoy my body. I'm not sure when I became comfortable as a sexual being, but it was probably a few years after I started loving being naked. That made me wonder if nudity and sexuality should go hand and hand, and I missed the boat initially, or if they are not as related as they seem to me, or as society sometimes makes me believe they are (with rampant nudity or partial nudity in advertising, etc.).

I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this topic -- are nudity and sexuality really related? Do you equate being naked to feeling more sexual? How does your level of covering-up affect your sexuality?

I know some people like to wear certain clothing items (panties, stockings, shoes) to feel more sexual, and I'm trying to understand how what we wear (or don't wear) affects how we feel sexually. Does nudity promote a more sexual mood if someone likes seeing their own body? Do you think sexuality is more related to confidence than to nudity, or is there some tie among all of them?

I love to sleep nude and I sometimes game nude. But, I can't walk around nude BC I still live with my parents. BUT, if I got my own place I would totally go nude all the way!!! I just wear boxers all day long now..

I just think it's fun to be nude. I would say it's sexier to go nude, but if a woman wore my boxers and my pac man shirt that is sexy too.

It's a good idea to keep your windows covered though!

I don't knwo - I think sexuality is more confidence no matter what you're wearing. I can feel totally sexy in jeans and a baggy shirt as well as naked. I'm comfortable going naked, but to me, just being naked around the house doesn't seem sexual. My husband ogling me in jeans and a t-shirt makes me feel sexy as hell.

Haha, yeah unless you're out in a rural country area with no neighbors, definitely get some blinds or shades for windows.

I think it's sexy to wear your lover's clothes, too. I like wearing my boy's clothes sometimes, and I even have some clothes he enjoys wearing (usually bigger t-shirts). I hadn't thought about the owner of the clothing having an affect on the sexiness of an outfit, thanks for bringing that up!

I love being naked, but I do it so much that my husband finds it sexier when I am clothed. If I am not naked, my fav thing is a t shirt and panties. It has been that way since I was about 13, adn we did live WAY out in the country where I could go get the morning paper in my undies and a t and no one would ever know.

me and my wife are naked for the most part when we are at home i'm naked all the time she is most of the time. I love to be naked all the time.

I come from a very nude family. I am fairly used to seeing my parents naked (I live nearby) so I do not equate nudity with sexuality at all. I would be nude more often in my own home but I get cold very easily.

Very interesting discussion! I don't link nudity so much to sexuality as I would primitivism or carnality. Being nude just seems to get me more in touch with my animal side and its basic needs. . . Like boning!

To me, nudity =/= sexuality.
Nudity is just being naked.
Sexuality is owning your body, whether or not you're wearing clothes. I feel like I really own my sexuality when wearing certain outfits and doing the rumba, but hey - that's my dealy.

i never thought sexuality and nudity really correlated; i think it's more of the setting the individual is in. I can walk around naked in my house doing chores not wanting sex, but if i'm getting it on with my partner (clothes or no clothes), of course it will be different.

I am always walking around naked, but I really don't see it as something sexual: I'm just more comfortable walking around naked.

I think they are completely separate but can be linked too. Personally I don't like to be naked unless I'm in the shower or having sex, but I'm very comfortable with my sexuality.
