demand? That's a huge turn off. I do NOT like demanding/needyness, if one of us wants something, we suggest it and try to get the other to be in the mood, if he just tried to FORCE it I'd be pissed. Being dominated when I'm not in the very specific mood for it is a major turn off!

I'm usually in the mood & when someone acts interested, that just spikes my interest. But, there'd be times I don't want it & since that usually requires me being sick, I can't imagine anyone who'd attempt to initiate anything then.

I almost always say yes, even if I'm not really in the mood at the time, because he does the same for me. Even if I'm not really in the mood I still love to have sex with him, so there are no complaints with me. The only time I will say no is if I'm really not feeling well, in which case he understands completely.
