I just wondered what everyone's feelings were on this because I know there are some people that this is an issue for. Sometimes the guy feels insecure because his woman wants or has a toy bigger than he is. And sometimes it's a turn-on just to see how big of a toy you can get in there and enjoy it. Just curious if this situation plays a part in anyone's toy purchases

I have toys that range from 1" to 2.25" in diameter. My husband likes to use the larger ones on me, generally ones that are much larger than he is. He would like to use 3" ones if I could handle them! Size doesn't play too big of an issue for me in purchasing. So long as it's not obscenely huge that is.

I chose he wants smaller/bigger but the truth is HE doesn't want me to have any. That's our agreement, I won't buy any realistic dildo's.

I stick fairly close to his size, but that's because it's the size I prefer. I don't usually use"insertable toys with him, and he doesn't give input on what I buy. He might not like it if I did use toys that were a lot larger than him, but I can't fit toys more than 1/4 inch circumference thicker than he is, and can't fit anything longer than he is, so it's never come up.

It is NOT that I take HIS size into consideration, for some odd reason, but that I ENJOY toys that are smaller. I find larger diameter toys uncomfortable vaginally and painful anally...so I am into SLENDER toys. My hubby, who tends to be larger then most of my toys, seems to fit fine. When I have tried toys larger then my usual slender toys, they just are NOT enjoyable.
SO...the answer to your question is "sort of". It is not that I am trying to make HIM happy with these choices, it just works out that way.

Plus, the way we use most insert-able toys is in one hole, while he is in the other, so really, I have to be able to COMFORTABLY accommodate him AND the toy. I like big toys. (Smaller ones for anal play, but thicker ones for v use.) When we got the Boss Lady (same size and shape as the Big Boss) my husband picked it up and said, "This is bigger than me." I said it wasn't. So, I proved it by measuring both with a tape measure, My Man is about the same size, but just a little more girthy than the Boss.
He didn't care when he thought it was bigger, though. He's a very secure guy about his junk.

I tend to go with the same circumference as my partner, but with added length (more convenient to use as a handle, since I'm doing all the work and I'm a tall gal).
My partner has been, on occasion, a little intimidated by the length of toys that I choose for myself. It's something that we're working on. :]

I really haven't thought about it but, I prefer smaller toys. He's big. Like, outside of my normal size preference (which is about 5" in circumference max). I've considered getting larger realistickish toys (like the Vixskin ones) that would make it easier for him to penetrate me, to make me more comfortable with that size. Note: we're a very long distance couple that gets to see each other about once a month or less. In effect, my muscles don't really get used to his size, since they don't experience it often enough.
Anyway, that was his only request. That he is the only thing that "stretches" me out.

when we buy toys it's all about what we think would be fun. Although I have bought toys simply because she said she couldn't do it...to big. Just to show her she could. I am also planning on getting her a few more. I am not concerned about size, be it a toy or another man. I have what I have, no way to change that...why worry about it.

My partner's penis is just the perfect size for me. Since I rarely find toys exactly his size, I usually go smaller than him when buying toys. It's just more comfortable to me. But it has nothing to do with us having issues about the size as relates to him, I just like small!

He's above average and I tend to buy close to his size. He doesn't care what size I use, thankfully. I've had guys in the past get pissy about 1.5" diameters.
