Well, hope you guys still like me after you read this, and hope you can follow my saga.

I was married-never cheated or thought I ever would.

The person I cheated with was married.
And my husbands-at time-best friend and coworker.

My lover chased around me for about two years, I was seriously attracted, but was trying to give my then hubby a chance to either fuck me or dump me.

My lover and I had sex in my car one night, I started divorce proceedings a month later. We were together every day.

He got divorced a month after me & moved in with me. We told our ex-spouses. My lover started his own business.

We have been married 14 years. Never cheated on each other, never would.We are soul mates, our other half. Wierd, huh?

Wow, I should write for a soap opera, huh?

thanks for sharing. Most people who do cheat don't plan on cheating, because usually they're not looking for a partner actively, or think it's not in their character.

I'm single but I've cheated in the past. I've been in relationships where I was in love with my partner but the same love or affection wasn't reciprocated. I felt unattractive so it was nice to be told I was beautiful by others. Essentially, I ended up cheating because I was getting something so necessary that my partner didn't want to provide. I wanted to stay because I didn't want to give up on us and I wanted us to work. But it didn't. I always thought myself as the type that would/ could never cheat.

Cheating isn't black and white; instead of blaming the cheating partner, it's a good idea to see if there's something wrong with the relationship as a whole. It's not fair to blame one single person because essentially relationships are a two person thing. Find out the reason why they cheated; a lot of it may have to do with the way the two of you are interacting, how your sex life is, how your home life is, etc. I've almost never heard of a perfectly happy couple have cheating; usually it's a relationship where communication isn't the best and someone (or both) isn't happy but trying to make things better.

Anyway, yeah, just a little of justification from the other side.Don't say you'll never do something because a thing called life has a tendency to make things difficult.

I'm very committed to my partner and I have not, nor would I ever, cheat on her. I would like to keep the sparks flying within our relationship, even though it can be very hard due to a gigantic distance between us.

I do find EF to be a lifesaver on this matter, if I may say so. We're both very positive about all the ideas and information shared here. It really opens up a world of possibilities. And, of course, a world of exciting toys!

The man I am with now, is the man I cheated on my ex with. It was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. It got me out of a boring relationship, and brought me into the arms of someone who is more like me.

Married and in a committed relationship. I have never cheated physically with another person but have cheated my husband of emotional closeness or intimacy that I shared with another person of the opposite sex. I have never cheated my life partner as our relationship has always been open.
I have been cheated on physically but never emotionally by my husband, my life partner has never cheated on me either physically or emotionally....but did cheat with me on my husband emotionally.

I find it interesting that out of the 67 people who have so far answered, 71% have never cheated. That is far from "most" cheating. In fact it's closer to "most" not having cheated.

When we had an open relationship, it certainly wasn't "cheating" to be with other people, but when the relationship was closed, it would be. I have certainly been tempted, but did everything in my power to then stay away from that person whom I felt attracted to. I made a promise to My Man when we closed the relationship and I take it seriously. If we were to eventually get into a semi-open situation, both being present with an other couple, it would not be cheating, as we would both consent to it. (it's been talked about, but I don't really think it's going to happen.)

So, I have never cheated while in a monogamous, closed relationship.

Seventy One percent of the people on the poll answered similarly.

My first high school gf cheated on me, and it made me feel so shitty I swore I'd never do it to anyone. I've stuck by that, and will continue to do so. I could never hurt my wife that way.
