I prefer private polls, but sometimes public polls are just fine; it all depends on the question.

Completely agree, though most of them I prefer to have public. I don't mind others seeing how I answer most things.

I agree with most here. depends on the question as to how comfortable people are. Seem that both public and private polls get good results.
I think alot has to do with the poll as to how many answers you will get.

It depends on what the poll is asking. If it's a public poll and I don't want my name posted, I just won't answer. Most of the time I don't mind my name bing on it. I try to be very open in these forum posts.

I think it depends on the question or topic of the poll. Most polls I just answer publicly, but specific ones I rather be private about it.

For some polls I prefer to remain private. For some of the polls I don't think it matters. Polls with topics such as what I enjoy drinking in the morning, or whether I eat certain food, I don't think those need to be private.

I prefer private. There are some public polls I've voted on because the topic wasn't too personal. I have to say that I have passed on a few public polls because it was too personal for me, I just didn't want my name posted.
