On a previous post called "What's Your Favorite Position", Reverse Cowgirl has a very low preference rate. In porns, Rev.Cowgirl seems to be extremely popular. I want to try Reverse Cowgirl with my husband but he's against it (he loves it when I ride the normal Cowgirl position though). He said Rev. Cowgirl's probably popular in porns because it's easier for filming/viewing. He BELIEVES it's not a enjoyable position to be in. I'd like to know from you guys/gals that have experience with this position:
1. While doing rev. cowgirl, is the guy's penis in a normal or bent backwards
position? Will the penis be injured easily?
2. Does the lady's g-spot get extra stimulation from this position - assuming
that the penis sticks straight up into the lady's vagina and rubs the
g-spot with every movement?

I have never had a problem with my penis being hurt in the reverse cowgirl position. At the point of entry it is similar to doggy style because the person on bottom is facing the back of the woman. I don't know if it is great for g-spot unless the person on top leans back over the person on bottom. The movement gets a little trickier at that point though.
That position can allow for the person on top to reach the balls of the person on the bottom for some attention or if the person on top leans back the person on bottom can give their breasts some attention.
That being said, I always find it fun to try out new positions even if they don't become the favorites, I often learn something new.

My husband likes it on occasion, and he doesn't find it hurts him. His only complaint is that he just sees my back. I've never noticed any g-spot stimulation from it though.

I have never noticed gspotting with the reverse either. my best for that is doggy.

I'm with Newme. I have no problem with RCG, but I do find it more boring than other positions and I don't care to do it for extended periods. I prefer regular cowgirl where I can have more interaction with my husband, such as kissing, restraining his hands, watching his expressions, etc.

I too find it boring since it doesnt hit the spot for me it all as it does when I am in regular cowgirl.

It seems like he is really concerend about hurting his penis. I found that if ever he comes out of me while I pounce on him his penis falls quickly out and I have never sat on it in a painful way. I find that if you lay on top of him on your back then enter the penis then sit forward and just pivot your hips, this may be reassuring for him since you do not go up and down. If you want you can have him hold your butt up a bit and he can thrust into you to make it easier for you. There are many options. Just go slow and you wont get hurt.

Cowgirl is overall my fav position. But not to the exclusion of others. Reverse cowgirl, for me, is not all that comfortable in bed. I have discovered, accidentally, that if I sit on a regular chair, with my feet touching the floor, I can more easily control the thrusts, intensity and above all the angle, esp in the reverse cowgirl position. My g spot is stimulated (similar to the doggie position). He has his hands, around me on my boobs and kinda guides the action. My b/f would never admit it, but he doesn't like "unpredictable" pressure on his aroused manhood....so this position and easy does it works.
If he does slip out, a quick change-up to reg cowgirl is in order.

it is also one of my favorites. The penis can get bent back sometimes, if you (the girl) lean forward too much. This is also effected by how his penis is shaped when erect. If, when standing, his erection is very close to his belly, standing straight up, this position might have more of a tendancy to bend back his penis.

Other than that, I love my wifes ass, and love to see if more and more. THis position is also fun because we can mix it up. Sometimes my wife will lay back on me (this may depend on the wifes size and weight, being honest) and i do her doggy style on our back, her on top of me.

Using the chair seems like a safer option for RCG newbies like me. Thanks for the great advice!
