saving something for marriage

Contributor: libbyv libbyv
Is there anything you saved sexually for after marriage? My husband and I waited to have unprotected sex until our wedding night...mainly to avoid pregnancy. But I just wondered if anyone else held off on anything until they were married?

Well, I'm not married yet, so I can't say I held anything off. I'm still holding. XD

The one thing I won't do is PIV sex, protected or otherwise. Anal and oral are fine though. Something about it just seems so special to me that I only want to share it with one person.

Right now, I'm holding everything off.

Saved him a piece of cake... Well, a half a piece.

Kiddin! But we did not save our virginity, so that's out.

I don't know if I'll get married, but I've never had anal sex so I guess maybe I'm saving that for someone special...

Unless you are talking about money, I personally consider "saving something for marriage" to be absolutely ludicrous.
In ancient times before birth control and medical treatment for STI perhaps being a virgin on one's wedding night made sense. Now, I don't think so.
Time is a perishable thing, to waste the time during which intimate activities could be shared with one another, I just do not understand.

There were a couple things we did save for after the wedding--for the honeymoon. I have to say it made them a very special and valued addition to our sexual relationship. Even now, when we do them it is for more special occasions, sentimental times....

On my part, I performed a pretty hot striptease and fully, 100% naked sex. I was always so ashamed and embarrassed over my stretchmarks and belly pooch that I always made sure my tummy was covered in some manner.

On his part, he saved experimenting with prostrate play. It did not work out for him, but we have since figured out other small but related things he does enjoy.

Then there is the BIG change in our sexual relationship about 8 years after we were married and found sex toys, porn and other fun means of exploring our sexuality...neither one of us had ever experienced many of the more risque' or non-typical activities we tried and currently enjoy together before--and we are still discovering new ways to please and enjoy each other!!

Not saving anything. It's not something that's important to us.
