Depends on a few things. Sometimes they are on sometimes off. Sometimes start with them on and take them off. Sometimes start with them off and then pull them up. My wife loves when the covers are on and I pull them down hard on her usually across her ass. That makes her cum right away.

We almost always have sex without the covers on. We find it far more comfortable to just have skin on skin contact without blankets over us that make sexy hotter (in a bad way) than it needs to be, but during the winter we do sometimes use sheets!
