So a female friend tells you...

I've always thought sex toys were pretty cool. Never heard of reviewing them until after I started my blog... but was always interested when people mentioned throwing toys into the mix.

Support it and think it's hot. Mind you you're poll might be a bit bias given where you are posting it. :p

I've told a few friends who were fascinated by it and though it was so great and said they would do it. However, the thought of writing reviews scared a few even though I told them it was very easy and that there's a great mentor program to help them with it. It took me over a year to build up the courage to join because I thought I couldn't write well. I learned..we all do

I'm on the other end of this. It'd be fun to tell my friends about Eden, but I don't imagine they'd be so receptive... =(

I think the conversation might become a bit awkward, but I'd still be supportive.

Sexuality was never a real issue for me. My gay friends always talk to me openly about sex, very few females do.. I wouldn't mind the conversation at all

Where the hell is "I'm a female and that would be hot" option? So heteronormative. -_- But yeah, I would find it hot, and support it, but at the same time not really care one way or another. XD

I'm sorry, I didn't want to have an enormous list of options so I just put that as 'other' and hoped that people would explain

I'd make her my BFF. I need a female friend to talk sex toys with.

Where are the "I'm female and that would be hot" "I'm female and that would be a turn off" "I'm male and I support this" and "I'm male and I don't care" options?

Oh, someone already asked this... Either way, I agree, the answers for both genders should really have more options, because you can be male without basing your judgement on if something would be hot, or female and think it's hot.

Sorry, I didn't want the options to be exceedingly long. That's why there's the 'other' option, for all of the ones that I could have included but didn't due to space.

I review sex toys..why would I care that another female does?

If I didn't... I wouldn't care.

I put both support and I don't care. I wouldn't be bothered if any of my friends were reviewers. If they had any specific questions or comments I'd support them in whatever but it's not like I'd be reviewing with them or anything so...yeah I don't care.

I did just recently tell a small group of friends about reviewing and after the shock factor wore off they were interested. I think they mostly thought it odd that someone in our group actually did something other then what we do and that something is liberating in a way so they ask all kinds of questions about which is best for this or that. It's funny but I like being able to help my friends. I think one or two have a seriously you review them and think it's odd but the most just rolled with it.

I couldn't care less, and wouldn't find it odd at all. For myself, though, only a small handful of friends know that I do it, since I like to keep some secrets.

"That's cool, but we were talking about US-Canadian relations," I'd say.
"They're totally related, let me explain," I hope she'd reply.

I'd find it awkward. Mainly because it just isn't something I discuss about IRL..

I'm really curious how does it work the other way around. If a male friend tells you...

This is how I found out about Eden in the first place - an acquaintance mentioned she reviewed here.

I don't really understand the idea of "supporting" someone. I would think it's cool but not have strong feelings either way.

I'd have supported it. To each their own, and whatever makes a person happy is a good thing (so long as it isn't hurting anyone).

I'm here BECAUSE my friend told me this, so... yeah, I'd say I would react positively.
