My husband's birthday is coming up and since it is around Christmas, there is really nothing to get him. When we got married, I suggested that we could stay in and have sex, watch porn, and play with toys all day long. We have done this every year for the past 4 years and we love it. My husband gets so excited for his birthday now. He is like a kid in a candy store.

Does anyone else do this sort of thing with your partner?

We do something kinda like that, when we have time / privacy (read: no kids). We've called it 'Bed Island'. We bring everything we'll need for a few hours to the bedroom (cold drinks, snacks, movies etc). No clothes or cell phones or laptops allowed. And we just don't leave the bed. It's really nice. Although, one time, a few years ago, I left a comment for Gary on his profile, saying "Come home to 'Bed Island', honey" and the next time his band played, the bass player was like "so, Victoria, when are you guys heading back to 'Bed Island'?".....burn!!! I was like "Hey!..."

Anyway, remember when you were a kid and you pretended that the floor was shark or alligator infested waters? It's like that. You only brave it for the bathroom, then you rush right back to your camp. It's nice to unplug and spend time like that.

I've actually never done that before. I think we'd probably be more interested in other things after the second round. But it does sound fun.

My partner and I have done that a couple times. We really enjoyed it and it kept me relaxed because at the times I was under a lot of stress! I really would love to do that again, but it is kind of hard for us right now. We are having to live with some of my relatives right now until we can get on our feet, so a relaxing day like this is definitely on my to do list when we get into our apartment!

I have to agree with Mistress Kay - spending time together is the key. Sure some great sex sprinkled in is great - but neither of us could stay stimulated all day. After a gushing extended orgasm my wife's good for at least 4-6 hours - ditto for me. Then sure round two can be leisurely - dedicated to building a slow crescendo then basking in the after glow and reminiscing about the day - year whatever....

Ha ha, you never know - you can always just lay in bed and relax in between. That is what my partner and I would do!

My partner and I actually managed 3 rounds recently and he had me so riled up, that I wanted more - but I didn't have the energy.

Well, it is an all day thing, but we take breaks from fun time. We might have 1 or 2 rounds and then go to lunch or watch a College Football bowl game. Then, off we go again. Also, it's a good time for us to try new things since I let him know that I am up for anything because it is his birthday present. It's more of a day to reconnect and explore our some wild fantasies.

Oh how I miss those days. When we were first married my husband and I would have a large meal around 1pmon Saturday or Sunday, go to bed and not come out until 10pm to clean the kitchen and feed the dog. This was all before kids. I love the “Bed Island” name.

We actually do this on a regular basis. It used to be just a random weekend day here and there, but with Alan off work it's gotten more frequent. When you're broke and have already put in all the job apps you can, there's nothing better to do to, and it keeps the stress at bay. I think we're both going to have a hard time adjusting when he goes back to work though

This is Sundays for us, if we can manage it. Send the Teen off to do teen things, stay in bed all day, getting out for nothing but bathroom and food. Lots of cuddling, movie watching, laptopping from bed and sex, sex and more sex.

I love Sundays.

My husband and I don't do whole days except maybe on our anniversary, but at least twice a week we have what we call cuddle sessions. It may or may not lead to sex, but we like to just lie on the bed and cuddle and say gooey stuff. The connection we feel is worth a ton, and if it does lead to sex, so much the better. Since we don't have kids, we're able to do this kind of stuff whenever we feel like it.

We do this all the time! Usually it starts spontaneously in the morning and we "have sex all day" - to us this means no orgasm for him all day! We tease, play, take breaks, eat, watch movies, read to each other. We spend the entire day wanting and trying to get in each other pants! It is a very intimate day together and combined with the buildup and tension created this makes his orgasm amazing when he finally gets it!

My plan for a partner's next birthday is out of doors: they work nights and have a scheduled driving routine in an industrial area for part of the night. My plan is me in heels, stockings and a loooooooonng coat waiting at a strategic part of the road. When they turn the corner I drop the coat and surprise them. Then they pick me up for hot car sex during their break.

Gotta agree that's a good aspect to it. You might discover some fetishes you have in common without even meaning to.

We'd probably do a couple rounds go "hmm, should we continue?", vote against it, then go play video games together. We're pretty bad about attention span-requiring activities.

Ahh! The good ole days of all day sex.... I miss those days. When my husband and I first started dating and my son was with his dad we'd spend all evening laying around and having sex. It was great! We'd have sex, go smoke, relax, and have sex again....for hours. I was a poor single mom so I had no cable or computer to distract. It was wonderful!

The closest we get to non scheduled naughty time is Mondays when our oldest son is in school and our youngest is napping. My husband is off work so sometimes as soon as our son falls asleep we will run to the bedroom! lol!

Now we have a child of our own, computer, internet, gaming consoles, and we don't smoke....it's amazing how things change.

we do this occasionally not for a birthday but that is a good idea!
