They're people who work with a sex therapist to do hands-on work with clients who don't have partners. It walks a fine ethical and legal line, since clients and surrogates can and do have sexual contact, but surrogates and therapists say they have tremendous results for people who use their surrogates. I certainly think it's interesting. There was a recent movie about this. Or will be. Starring.. Helen Hunt..? I think. I'd watch it.
