If you were in some kind of relationship, would you "share" your significant other? Threesomes, spouse swapping, orgies, play parties, anything like that? And if you were single, would you participate if someone wanted to share their significant other with you? I'm just providing some basic options, feel free to elaborate in the comments.

Also, something to think about, do you think it would be selfish or hypocritical of someone to participate if someone shared their SO with them, but not share their own SO?

I've thought about this and even briefly brushed upon this with my significant other. Both of us agree there would have a great deal of trust in the other one we would be sharing with. I mean, what if he or she, the one you were sharing with were "sleeping around?" I'm not talking about their freedom, I think you all know that but today's "hazards."

It sounds exciting and in my fantasy, yes even practical, but in real life? How often does it really work out for all concerned. I have a great deal of admiration and respect for the ones that do and applaud that kind of "sharing" but for me, no I don't see it possible.

As far as only my or my partner doing so and not allowing the other? It would have to go both ways. If I wanted to share, he would have to be able to do so as well.

I'm really not too interested, and I know my SO isn't. Sure, it's spicy to watch a threesome, orgy, or gangbang in porn on occasion, but we won't be participating with others.

Definitely would not "share," but that's because we're monogamous and wouldn't want to have sex with other people. The question about sharing yourself but not your partner doesn't apply to me or us because I'd never want to share my own self.
