My significant other was brought up very sexually conservative and, before me, has never seen a sex toy in real life. He's not threatened by them, but is semi-hesitant to use them during sex or foreplay. He's also extremely practical, and having lots of things that are, essentially, used for the same purpose is unnecessary.

I had a significant collection when I started dating my present b/f. He was initially intimidated by toys but has really come around...when he travels, he will sometimes buy me a new toy and now he frequently chooses a toy, cleans and lubes it and places it on the nightstand, ready for play.

Ehehehe... We totally just had a toy collection night. He loved it. It was a surprise to him that I have been collecting so many lately, and that I've been involved in the EF review program so am getting some discount/free toys. Oh man we had fun. My husband didn't know what hit him or what to make of it when all the toys first starting appearing, but we are very good at communicating and after I explained that he was fantastic and very very good that the toys were just meant as a added bonus for us to explorer with, he got into it. Now he loves them so much he is not only going out and buying new toys for us but sex furniture as well.

My boyfriend really loves when I get new toys. In fact, hes the one who stumbled upon eden and told me about this site and now we both share this account and write review for our respective purchases. I think it works out wonderfully because he's usually the one to see the great deals and tell me about them. Sometimes he's even more excited than me to get a new toy. I think he likes knowing that I can have fun on my own too. I don't think guys should see it as a threat. Instead they should see it as a way to make the bedroom more fun for the both of them.

My husband doesn't care for my toys. He doesn't mind that I have them or want more. He doesn't really care to use them on me, or want to hear about them. He thinks I'm a crazy freak, because I like to chill out around the house with a butt plug in. *shrugs* I wish he was more into it.
