If she is upset then she has the choice to confront him and say," Marriage or get out." Personally I have done that and we are still married.

It all depends on the situation. I think eventually a guy will get feelings for you and want to make a commitment.

Or you could quite possibly make him jealous with another guy.

Other. Some people have gotten married for the sex, and if they could get it for free, why get married? A lot of people still want to get married, and often it's good to know if you're sexually compatible. Think statistically, if you live together while planning to get married, your marriage is more likely to succeed. If you live together, and get married along the way, it's a higher divorce rate. Hopefully guys don't take advantage of the easier or cheaper route like that, at least when their partner would like marriage

I gave away a little milk and I'm still happily married.

FALSE. I am a guy and I would love to get married. Especially when we have great sex

My husband and I had sex before we were married or even engaged. Within a month of it happening the first time, we were engaged, two months later we were married. He didn't marry me because I had sex with him, but it didn't keep him from marrying me either.

I've always hated this saying, it sounds so sexist. I'd like to think my partner doesn't think of my relationship as a dairy farm of sex. Or would compare marrying me to buying livestock. gross.

No...that's silly. Marriage is about more than sex. Maybe this person is not getting married for a whole variety of other reasons. Your life changes when you move in with your SO and how you relate to them changes as well. I highly doubt it has anything to do with this antiquated, offensive analogy.

Well, over 7 years later and he hasn't put a ring on it. So yeah, it probably leaves a lot of room for procrastinating. I don't even want us to be married. I just want him to propose. To me, marriage is a show of your promise for other people and the public. Engagement is the promise between the both of you.

marriage doesn't seem as important anymore when a couple lives together

It's a ridiculous saying. Things depend on the people in the relationship, but there's more to a person than "milk"!
