If I feel up to it (between cramps, soreness, swelling, etc.) I have no problem with it. My man isn't grossed out by it either, so it's not a problem.

I use an "Instead Cup" so we don't get blood on us during sex, but we usually only do that on light days. If we want to during a heavy day, we just go in the shower!

Wouldn't particularly mind having sex with someone on theirs. Really. The area is much more sensitive at that time because of the blood 'gathering' there, too, so, really, people ought to have sex all the more when it comes around.

My husband has no issues with having sex during my period and really neither do I. Both of us are a little bit concerned with the mess, so we just move the action to the shower for those 6 days and all is well!

I'm now taking continuous cycle birth control pills, so I don't get my period any longer, other than light spotting every once in awhile. Before I started them, I would get some pretty terrible cramps that would be made worse the first day or two by sex. After that first day or two, the cramps are helped by sex.
My boyfriend doesn't mind period sex and neither do I. We got a Fascinator throe in black for messy sex, and it works quite well, though it doesn't see as much use any more! Other than that, we would just stay away from oral sex on me and usually have sex in the shower. It worked out well.
