Maybe it wasn't just sensation the DVD was comparing. It might help if you understand the glandular similarities, as the info below somewhat illustrates how the writer of that statement (in your DVD) may have extrapolated to make his comparison. He may have meant that the Skene’s Gland in a woman is similar to the male prostate gland.
Found on Wikipedia (Source:
here) In human anatomy (female), the Skene's glands (also known as the lesser vestibular, periurethral glands, skene glands, paraurethral glands, U-spot, or female prostate) are glands located on the anterior wall of the vagina, around the lower end of the urethra. They drain into the urethra and near the urethral opening. These glands are surrounded with tissue, which includes the part of the clitoris that reaches up inside the vagina and swells with blood during sexual arousal.
Also found on Wikipedia (Source:
here) Females do not have prostate glands. A gland in females with similar characteristics to the prostate, previously called paraurethral or Skene's glands, connected to the distal third of the urethra in the prevaginal space has been considered by a few researchers as a "prostate-like" gland.
Hope that helps!
