Snide remarks to "straight guys"?

Contributor: kdlt kdlt
As someone that presents female, I get a lot of rude remarks from men when I'm out on a date with a girl. I'm not out there on a date with a girl for his pleasure, fantasies or entertainment! They could at least keep their thoughts to themselves.

A lot of you are really witty and come up with great quips so I bring the question to the table:

How would you react and tell a guy off (whether subtly or bluntly) for remarking about 'how hot two women are' or 'I wish my wife was more like you' or any other variation?

Ignore them completely. I think the worst thing you could do would be to engage them in any form of conversation.
Btw...please don't lump all of us "straight guys" into the same category. You didn't offend me, but those guys should simply be labeled as classless men.

"Does your wife know you hit on lesbians?" or something of that variation.

Best not to respond and ignore their existence; they want you to respond to them. They're Bullies, pure and simple.

"you know what is hotter than two women kissing? These two women kicking your ass. Do you want to see?"

I used the quotation marks to signify the difference between straight guys and the post-mentioned rude ones ("straight guys")-- sorry it didn't come across clearly! No offense meant to anyone that doesn't act as the post says; I'm definitely specifically referring to the guys that do behave like this (as I've yet to have any woman say something similar to me.)

oh come on, now. they may be "classless" - i'd say just rude - but they're rude *straight* men, specifically. and that is important, because it is a fact that there is a specific kind of harassment that heterosexual men subject people who are not heterosexual men to. and of course it's not all straight men, or even most - we all know that. but when you are not a straight man, you do sometimes need to figure out how to respond to and deal with straight men specifically.

I tend to blow them off completely. I have no problems with telling them that they're disgusting though.

I agree completely. We can't just totally forget the fact that the harassment is coming from straight men, and that's not to say that the harassment comes from all straight men, but it is straight men that it is coming from.

In the past I have just ignored it but then later thought of a good comeback and then been pissed off I didn't think of it earlier.
