I dated mostly men interspersed with women throughout my dating life. Where I grew up, here in South Alabama, there were not a lot of friendly faces when dating inside your same gender. While that didn't stop me, I know for a fact that it stopped plenty of young women that I am still friends with. Now that we are grown, and most of them are gone, they have no issues in larger cities outside our little farming town. If there had been more open participants, I would think that the ratio of men to women in my life might be a bit closer.

Female that has mostly been with females. I knew I liked girls from a younger age (13) and didn't admit it to my family until I was 21. When I did come out, my family looked at me with a look that said "duh".
