I think of the dildo as an accessory (not an extension of myself) so I like them to be a crazy color and I search high and low for ones I like. As for size, I could care less... which ever pleases my partner pleases me, however I tend to have partners who are experienced, lets say, and so i usually have a nice sized dildo, probably like 7 inches.

I, too, prefer unrealistic ones; my past favorites are the Fun Factory Magnum (a kind of sleek, modernistic marbled thing) and the Tantus Vamp, which I call my "disco cock," -- it's purple and spangly! I draw the line at simulated balls, basically.
