This is sort of a branch from the defining-sex thread, but what do you guys (and gals) think of as foreplay?

My personal definition is pretty much anything sexy that doesn't involve actual genital touching... kissing, touching other parts of the body, all that nice stuff.

Anything that teases the senses. Foreplay can start way before you're even together sometimes! It's electric.

Mostly agreed here. Anything that fires you up and any intimate contact between individuals that isn't directly sexual I think falls under foreplay.

Really, anything that turns on one or more of the people involved. Talking, reading or watching something together, kissing, touching, holding each other, even some BDSM activities for those that partake, spanking, bondage, putting on a collar, taking control, pinning someone down, giving orders or directives, anything else that gets you in the mood and turns you on, especially if it leads to more sex. If you're long distance, talking on the phone, texting, webcams, emails, etc. can be part of foreplay too.

Anything sexy that doesn't involve something that would by itself end with an orgasm.
