How many packers have you had?

I'm on my first currently and I love it, but I'm worried about how long it will last. Somebody mentioned their Mr. Limpy broke down after only eight months of wear.

My packer is in my fiance's pants , I havent had any fake ones.

My first one lasted about 6 years (Mr. Limpy extra small vanilla) of 24/7 packing. (I pack in underwear that has a front pocket - if you pack with a harness, the packer gets torn up more quickly). My second's been in service for 1 year, 7 months and has one small pinhole between the shaft and the balls.

If you keep it clean (a dab of soap and water daily and a very light dusting of cornstarch), it'll last a long time. Exactly how long depends on what packing method works for you.

But I didn't vote in the poll because I have a whole collection of packers. Mr Limpy extra small is what I pack with, it's the most practical.

I have a 5" Mr. Limpy STP because I'm a short guy and need the extra inches for... clearance, as it were. I love it, but I don't pack with it as often as I'd like to because the extra length makes it harder to arrange in an unobtrusive way (again, I'm short; bigger guys might not have the same problem).

I got a 4" GV packer (sailor, I think they're calling it now), and I like the feel of it - it's firmer than the Mr. Limpy, so it feels good in your hand - but their vanilla is an odd peach color that doesn't go with my complexion, and thanks to the rod down the middle that provides the correct firmness, it goes "splorch" if you squeeze it. The GV mold is also not as detailed as the Mr. Limpy - though the texturing on the balls is nice, the balls are awfully small and flat, so it's kind of just enough to get in the way. I still pull it out when I'm on my own and need to feel something a little more substantial in my hand, though.

I also have a Mr. Right. Beautifully detailed, very very firm, one position only (which is not subtle in your pants), medical grade silicone.... and heavy as hell. It's fun to mess around with in a harness, and I like the medical grade silicone, and the mold is truly amazing - but it's just way too heavy and prominent to pack with unless you are a very large guy or a guy who likes your trousers five sizes too big. I don't regret buying it, but it's more of a bedroom toy/conversation piece/work of art for me than a packer.

And finally, I have the 6 1/2" Mr. Limpy. It's massive, so big that it actually pulls itself out of shape via its own weight (and springs back). Why did I bother? It's great fun to stroke, and doing so helps my dysphoria on the really bad days... but it's another one I would never wear in public.
