Trans & Porn

Hey everyone!
I'm Allanah a trans female who owns and operates my own adult site( link ) .

I noticed a lot of trans are looked down upon for being in the adult industry & most of the shaming comes from our own community. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts about it.

It always surprises me how even those who live alternate lifestyles (like BDSM or others who are open about their sexuality) can still have so much prejudice. I think that it will be a wonderful day when everyone can be accepted for who they are and who they want to be.

There is already a lot of shaming surrounding porn as a profession, so the lack of acceptance of trans individuals in the industry does not surprise me. It does seem like porn is behind the times when it comes to equality and acceptance. For instance, interracial porn is a whole genre. It is much harder to non-white adult actors and actresses to make it in the industry.

That is an interesting point. Although I am not as familiar with the transgender porn community, maybe it is somewhat comparable to women being the most judgmental of other women (as opposed to men being the culprit)? Also being a mom I get judged HARD by other moms.

I can't really explain that either. Why do we do that?

My 2 bits, trans are people. And people are strange. I'm sure the straights get look down at or about by some other straights too.

Nobody likes to be treated differently or unfairly, but it happens. When it happens from someone you know or family, it hurts even more.

Hello i am looking into getting into a Trans adult site do you have time for questions on getting started.

Aside from that. I have been shamed for wanting to do this as a income source. my thoughts are that every one can have a opinion on my life negative or positive but at the end of the day... No one is paying my bills or living my life for me. I think people forget that not every one has the same views as them. sadly in our community there is envy and jealousy and of course straight hating based off how others may look very attractive and doing things they wish they could.
