Same on the delivery for me, but I've gotten lucky a few years and had someone fooled the whole day.

Me too.. plus, I always feel bad.

I do want to try the whole styrofoam office thing. If I ever work or befriend someone who works in an office (chance: slim to none. any takers?) surrounded by windows, I wanna get big things of cardboard to cover the windows, with a little space between the top of the window and the cardboard. Then, use double sided tape and cover it all. Apply styrofoam peanuts all over until tape/cardboard can't be seen. Attach styrofoam cardboard peices to all windows. Voila! Fake-office-is-filled- with-styrofoam-peanuts prank. Yay!

I tend to avoid it because someone bad always happens where they are innocent intentions and I don't need to scare someone half to death. ><

No, I'm terrible at April Fools' day jokes, but unfortunately, I do get fooled very easily that day.

convincing my boyfriend(at the time) that i was pregnant and not sure how to tell him which was why I had not been to see him in 6 months was probably the best april fools joke ever. I know it is not funny to joke about being pregnant but given the situation and conversation at the time.. it was perfect.

I hate pranks. Well- I hate BEING pranked. It's so awful, I'm horribly gullible and really hate when people take advantage of that. In order to try and avoid people pranking me, I never prank anyone. So far so good!

I had a manager that got on my ass every day cause her hubby made bank and I was 17...so one Aprils Fools (I worked in a kennel) I unplugged the phones after her husband showed up and I told him what I was doing. We were there before the business opened, so it was me, her and her hubby. I took a pint of fake blood, squirted it all over the counter, sink, towels, myself and a rottweiler that was there. I started screaming and had put a small bulb syringe under the towel I wrapped around my arm. Her and her hubby came around the corner and her hubby went along with it, grabbing the dog and putting it in the office, then having me lay down on the floor. She kept screaming OMG! OMG! and trying to dial 911. She screams "The phones are all down!" and starts crying, and I roll over to the fetal position so I can stop laughing. Her hubby goes on for another 10 mins, till all her makeup was jacked up. Then, while she was trying to get the phones to work again, I got up and cleaned the mess up. She came around the corner and her hubby was laughing, and I was looking at her like I had no clue, rottweiler back in his cage, clean... LMAO!!!! She hated me for weeks LOL

No, I'm always the victim, but as long as it doesn't piss me off, it's okay. One time my younger sister REALLY got me. She tied a skinny, black hair tie around the sprayer on our sink, which was also black. Then she told me she thought there was a noise coming out of the faucet when she turned it on. So naturally I went over and turned on the faucet. And got sprayed in the FACE. It was such a good prank... *sniffles* I'm so proud of her...

I used to be the prankster type when I was younger, not as much anymore. Mostly tons of hiding/sneaking up on people and scaring the living hell out of em

I have not fooled someone very successfully, but the 8-year-old I babysit pulled off a good one this year. She went off to another room with her sister (5 and asthmatic, though the asthma has popped up maybe twice in the 3 years I've watched them) and started screaming bloody murder like "OH MY GOD SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH MADISON!" I came dashing in to Madison looking completely confused and the prankster laughing her head off.

I forgot it was April Fool's Day, otherwise I might have been suspicious

I totally forgot it was April fools. I was on vacation and I get a call from work..."we need you to come in NOW" (it was 6 AM). The didn't realize I had gotten up REALLY early to go to the home improvement store (24 hour BIG BOX store) and so was up and dressed. When they called back....ONE MINUTE LATER to say "April Fools", all they got was my NOT so happy wife on the line. I had not only RUSHED out....but forgot my cell phone. Thirty five minutes later, I'm at work and there were a lot of embarrassed apologies. I can laugh about it now..a few years later. At the time...well...NOT so funny.
