4th of July cookout coming up.....planning now. Which way to go?

I usually do breast strips, dogs and burger. I also make potato salad, deviled eggs, veggie/fruit try, baked beans, pasta salad(vinegar-oil), and 5-6 finger foods. Then no bake cheesecake, brownies and 2 other desserts. We usually have a houseful after our friends/relatives find out I am cooking.

I recently had a mini-Fourth of July at Memorial Day, just to try things out. We did barbecue chicken (made with homemade barbecue sauce!!!), baked beans, and potato salad. Banana pudding and pineapple and strawberries for dessert. Probably going to do something similar for Fourth of July.

This is just for 2 people, so we don't do a ton of food. We normally go to the park where the fireworks are set off in our city to eat and relax and stuff while the sun goes down. It has to be pretty portable.

I prefer grilled steaks and chicken drumsticks.
