Our company was struggling long before the recession and cut out parties, picnics, etc. It didn't affect me because I'm 3k miles from HQ and never went anyway.

yes, we are having one. It gets bigger every year. I like the first one when the company was brand new. It was at one of the owners house. The one this year is at a big hotel downtown with a bunch of people that I dont know.
