Well the planning part is just about done. The kids' gifts are half on layaway and half just planned out and budgeted for in upcoming paychecks. I have purchased a few stocking stuffers too and a few gifts for them. My husband and I usually do our gift shopping for each other together with just one surprise gift. I have no idea what that gift will be for him though. I think I'm going to get him a Tenga Egg though as part of his surprise..put it in his stocking, I figure the kids won't know what it is when he opens it LOL

For our extended families I've been thinking and have some ideas but nothing has been bought yet. They're the hardest because we're on a tight budget but don't want things to seem cheap. So, I've been hunting around for bargains and sales. The hardest one for that is my dad, I've kind of run out of gift ideas for him.

For the grandparents we are getting nice frames and having pictures done of the kids at walmart...those will be their gifts. I got a really great coupon for pictures so the pictures themselves will cost next to nothing. Picture frames I can get at walmart also. Overall, it will be inexpensive, but a cute and very meaningful gift.

I totally understand the whole "on a budget" thing. We have a lot less money this year since I lost my job in August. Its been a very tough year for us. We survive though.

I haven't done too much, but I do have most of it picked out - I just haven't actually bought it yet.

I've gotten about half of my daughters Christmas shopping done and most of my sentimental shopping/creating done for others. I plan on getting almost all of it done come Black Friday. I've been scoping out prices for the last few months to see what I should get now and what I should possibly wait for. I might have to wait until after Black Friday to get a few of the spendier things though. I always seem to wait last minute (or what I consider to be last minute, meaning half a month until Christmas) to get some of the spendier things done. I've been doing a lot of shopping online this year though. I found an amazing coupon site that has saved me a few hundred already.

I haven't started. Normally we don't give presents so I usually buy myself something nice....hehehe.

This year though, I'm going to buy 2 of my family members (and a friend) their very first toys - their choice. I'm excited!
I reckon they will be hooked and will buy more themselves after experiencing toys for the first time!

It's only the end of Nov - plenty of time - it's all good.

I'm just about done - say 90%? I have a couple more things for my mom, her C.L. husband, my boyfriend, and a secret santa gift for work but it's all planned.

I have most of my son's presents already, since I put them on layaway throughout the year. His birthday is the 28th so it's Christmas then birthday for him.

As far as the rest of my family/friends, I am still working on their presents. I plan to finish that shopping when I get some more money next.

Can't afford Christmas, so it's cards ... nearly $20 in stamps is all we can spare.
