I would've assumed that Hanukkah would be more popular than the solstice.

Christmas. But the Easter Platypus also visits and brings shrimp for everyone, since Santa was shot out into space and we have to be protected from him with a giant shield.

*Easter shrimp for all those who get this*

I thought Solstice was just a calendar fact, not a "holiday" to celebrate? Is there some group that "celebrates" it?

Santa??? Space???? I always worried about what might happen if Rudolph's guidance system went offline for a split second.

link

Knowing he has to visit well over one million houses per second, his actual "travel speed" would be far in excess of the speed of light. That was always my worry...that split second error and poof...Santa is a few million miles out into space.

Nope. It was all because of one little green nuclear mole named Zim. He made a Santa suit that devoured all kinds of holiday stuff and it was evil. So, it got shot into space by a giant robot fist. At least, that's what Mr. Sludgy said.

I just celebrate the winter but not strongly enough to be a solstice person. Family and friends. I'm not Christian or anything. I don't have an affiliation.
