A Community Workshop could be very simple to coordinate. If you have some information prepared on your topic, and maybe some photos hosted that you could interject, you would be all set. You could talk about your topic, introduce some of your examples or whatever, and then go into some Q& A.

I kind of have an idea, but I'm not sure if it'd be more of a SexIs thing specifically or an EF thing.

So, there's the Naked Reader Book Club. What if it was split into two clubs, one for erotica, and one for more non-fiction books, like biographies, etc? I'm sure some people would rather read one over the other.

I'm not actually in the club at the moment (wanting to join, though!), but I was just thinking this in relation to the local book clubs in my hometown.

A random thought.

I think it sounds like a plan to me. And should the nominator come up with a short epiphet for the CotM? Like "Most Helpful" or "Hardest Working" or "Warmest Person" or "Saltiest Peanut" (uh maybe not that last one lol)?

I think it'd be great to maybe have some on current events. For example, the Marie Claire article really got a good conversation going between contributors.

Exactly! It could be short if you like, just an acknowledgment of what they have done, and why they are being nominated.

We could have a couple of easy to do craft nights or something like that. I make bags from time to time to sell on Etsy, and it's pretty easy, so like, I could walk you guys through how to make on of your own or something like that.

Unfortunately the only thing I can think of offhand that I could host a workshop for would be old-school NES system & game repair... but you are all very creative and interesting, the possibilities would be very vast.

I made some Halloween trick or treat bags last year that were pretty small, because I thought parents might like to try and ration how much candy kids were getting, and they would hold some sex toys. I know they hold 2 bottles of beer

If you wanted to host a workshop, you would contact me with your idea pitch. Then we would discuss what you would need to do, when it would if would happen, and then we would all promote it.

Lol, making the ones that are like quilts take longer, since you have to sew all that together too, but t-shirt ones aren't too bad. I turned a couple of my fiance's ex's shirts into bags in about half an hour for the two of them, lol
