Our first order of business is to talk about the Halloween Contest.

The second order of business is to brainstorm up some new ideas.

Great idea for this weekly meeting! I'm not too good with ideas, but I'm gonna try and follow along and add my input if I have anything to add!

Hi! Are we still looking for new ideas for the Halloween Contest or has it been well enough indicated that a toy dress-up contest should be the way to go? Or both?

I still think that the sex toy costume thing is a great idea! Maybe some type of "trick or treat" scavenger hunt?

By new ideas you mean for new contests in the future right? *puts on thinking hat*

I think we should do a toy costume contest, but we can also do other categories.

I like the idea of dressing up toys for Halloween!

So what should the rules be for the toy costume?

No Photo-shopping, must submit photo to enter?

Now, as far as the toy costume contest goes, is it going to be photoshop-able contest as well or strictly 'real' dress-up? There could also be categories within that contest - scariest, funniest, most original, etc.

Oh that's cute... like a real costume contest.

No photo shopping rule is a good one. And something like no copying someone elses picture. For example just researching online sex toys dressed up or something and just stealing someone elses. But then again, I don't know how you could tell if it was copied or not.

Was there a mention of a diorama/scene at one point? The costumes toys on a set? Would that be still permissible?

I think maybe photo-shopping should be disallowed only because not everyone has the capabilities to do so. We don't all have the software necessary, and in addition, there are surely people with better graphic design skills than others.

Will people be able to submit more than one? Maybe 2 or 3 submissions per person?

What would the costume categories be if we did that?

Categories are cool. There could be a photoshop category, but I think for the most part it should be dress up with materials you already have. This would allow everyone to be included, not just a contest for those who have/use photoshop.

Oh, I think it would be fun to allow that! As long as the toy is still somehow decorated, not just hanging out all nekkid in a cool set up.

That would be awesome! But do you think it might be too much work for many people to participate?

I think we should allow photo shopping, but you could have a certain category for that. Not everyone is crafty either, there is no way in hell I will be able to sew a costume for a dildo.. I can't sew at all. I can, however, photoshop! There could be photoshop, arts and crafts, video, and there could be some sort of demonstration video where you can create a plot and atually make a little play lol

Hmmm...

Scariest
Funniest
Most original/unique
Sexiest?
Best representation - turning toys into classic horror and fictional characters - like if people dressed up their dildos as Michael Meyers or Chuckie?

Scariest, Funniest, Sexiest, Most Original ... Those are the usual costume categories.

I don't think it would make it too much work because it wouldn't be a requirement. Just a creative possibility.

And ...

Photoshop, Craftiest, Set ...

I dont know if this would be too complicated, but you could have craftiest photoshop and set, and then the other categories could be sub categories? would it be fair for different people to submit into multiple categories?

Does this mean we're still open to other contests? Or just categories within this one? Only because while some people here are visually creative, we have a lot of writers too. What about (since it kind of ties in) some kind of horror erotica contest that has to involve a sex toy? Or even some kind of erotic horror fan fiction allowed as well?
