Do you keep a secret "list" in your mind of things you WISH people would get you, but you KNOW they won't (and you cannot tell them, because of what it is or how expensive...etc)?

We had this talk at work. A lot of folks there had "I wish she/he would say...."here is the money, buy that wide screen TV or new Tablet Computer"...etc, but they know deep down "it ain't happening".

How about you? Any secret....and likely unfulfilled..gift wants?

I don't ask for things, and know everyone is hurting this season. But I can't lie and say there isn't anything I would love to receive. But I'm also not worried about it. I just want to do my best to makes things special for everyone else

I am grateful for whatever people choose to give me as a gift. However, I really wish sometimes that I would get the mind reader gift. You know the one I am talking about, the sweater you saw on sale, that pretty necklace, etc.

Actually right now, we are going great money wise and recently have bought a new computer, two new monitors, and a new digital camera. So far I have got all the things I want, except a Jopen toy(the VR3). That is the only thing my heart desires, that I will not be getting. I am grateful that people give me gifts and am happy to receive whatever someone gets me.

I don't do gifts. I make requested desserts for my parents and siblings (or like I'll have an artist friend make a confit pot, and then make confit with mom and give her the jar of it as a present, but really the 'making' was the important part), and don't let anyone get me anything except time, appreciation, and occasionally wool socks.

Therefore, I don't expect anything, and therefore, if I want something, I save up for it.

Well there's always the pony.

And more specifically this year, this link giftset from JJ looks just about perfect for me. Actually, there are several JJ sets that seem delightful.

Unfortunately, pretty much the only person who would get me one is my bf and he's flat broke sooooo it's doubtful.

I want this year the same thing I wanted last year, and didn't get..and I know I won't get it... a Stroller. A nice, city mini double jogging stroller...the ONLY one that will fold up and fit into our trunk and leave room for other stuff, and there is only one other double stroller I found that actually fits in the trunk anyways. It costs around $400...a little cheaper if you find last years model..lol

My "secret wishlist" isn't really about things, so much as about goals & things I'd like to change in my life. Not all of it is secret, but some of it I don't really want to blab about because negative people dump their nonsense on me saying "Oh, that's unrealistic" or whatever. Other stuff is just a bit silly to admit that I want.

Yeah, but mostly because I don't like to tell anyone if I want something that I think would be too expensive or something. And this year I asked for a bunch of things I'll need for my school, rather than things that I just really want.

There are a few big tickets items that I wish I had the money for right now or someone would buy me. But, it's not a secret. My immediate family knows that I've been drooling from this big screen tv for awhile now.
