I've dressed up my cat as the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland on Halloween once, but any other time I don't bother. I honestly think dressing an animal is cruel because they seem so uncomfortable in the 'clothes' people put on them.

I think dressing pets up is absolutely ridiculous.

My mom tries to put bows on cat from time to time and I just take them off because they hate it. I think it is fine if an animal is not bothered by in , but not otherwise.

I put bow ties on them so that they'll look more dapper for special occasions.

I want a monkey costume for my tiny cat because he likes to climb things and it would be funny. I haven't been able to find one I also haven't looked that hard though

I just put warm sweaters and jackets on my dog in winter. I got this neat bell set with red velvet to put around his neck and paws for Christmas but he dislikes it so I don't make him wear it.

For the sake of a few photographs we put santa hats and antlers on the dogs sometimes. They usually just fall off, or they bat them off after a while, so we just let it be xD

But in the cold, sometimes they need sweaters.

No, I think it's kind of mean. A lot of animals don't like it, and that means I don't like it either.

For most of the pet clothing out there....no. It looks like some form of torture to me to those guys. I think a little scarf/handkerchief or a collar with or without a bell is more than enough. Of course if they actually need some sort of clothing like a little sweater to keep warm then that's alright too. A sailor outfit is just ridiculous in my opinion.

Though one exception is when its Halloween. I think that's the one time when its alright to dress them in something cute or funny. I gave my cats little bowties attached to the collars I got just for that one year. They were really adorable, hahaha.

I'd dress up my cat, but all she does is sit there in the same position for a long time, possibly plotting revenge.

I consider unnecessary clothing on animals to be mild animal abuse. I understand that some animals do need a jacket or sweater to keep warm, or booties to protect their paws from snowmelt, but if either is too "cutesy" I really don't like it. I would never put 90% of pet outfits on any animal, they're just ridiculous. There is no justifiable reason to put a dog in a tutu, in my opinion. I don't understand some of the outfits, I really don't.

Only on Halloween and only something that isn't more intrusive than his normal collar.
