My fiance always does. She just knows me too well and gives me things that she knows have meaning instead of cloths like my parents lol

I have a friend that knows me very well and goes out of his way to make me happy all the time, so naturally he would put a lot of thought into Christmas gifts. This year was no exception.

My husband and one of our close friends. I love zombies, and my husband managed to find a children's book called Zombie in Love. I absolutely adore it! And one of our close friends sent my sister back into a store to get me a necklace that I wanted but didn't have the money for when we were out shopping Saturday.

My mother or my bf, she got me the cutest little panda bear shaped notepad for my panda collection and he wrote me a poem so sweet it made me tear up.

I would have to say I didn't get an overly thoughtful gift this year. Christmas was more depressing than I would have liked and I got pajamas (that were ruined the day after because I fell and busted my knee open, tearing the jammies and getting blood all over them), slippers that my bf managed to ruin the same day, a rice cooker and sandwich maker, boots and an apron.

I suppose the apron would have to be the most thoughtful seeing as I am constantly in the kitchen ruining my clothes because I don't have an apron... AND it was cute! Cupcakes on one side, green with white polka dots on the other.

My SO didn't get me anything for Christmas or our anniversary (tomorrow). But we were focusing on our daughter this year so it's understandable

My dad and step mother gave me a Nook. My KOBO died and my dad asked My Man if it was OK if he gave me a Nook, and My Man said that would be great (our presents to each other were sparse this year due to finances) They gave me a Nook, a plug in for sockets, a light, and a cover for it.

I've already bought two books, (a Stephen King e-book and a book on Auspergers) and am happily enjoying my Nook. (Together they were under $10.00, so I got a deal.)

My kids got me stuff from an organic farm which makes their own beauty products and my little one got me some nail polish.

My Man got me a necklace with a pearl on it, and some sweat pants and a sweat shirt which don't fit. (When will he realize I don't wear a "Small" anymore?)

Weird, I didn't get any books this year. Since our Border's closed nobody went shopping for books.

My step sister and her husband got us a fruit basket, which is funny because we got them a Harry and David fruit basket. I really don't know them very well (they live out of town and we didn't meet until we were both adults) so it was nice to get the fruit.

We didn't get to see my brother and his wife and his kids, as I had an exhaustion induced freak out yesterday, but I know he got me the last two seasons of Big Bang Theory. I got them a Harry and David basket, so we'll have to see them soon or the fruit will go bad. I had a little breakdown while making a strudel for my brother's house yesterday and My Man said I needed to go to bed before I lost it completely. We stayed home so he called my brother and explained I was not doing well. I miss my bro and his kids, but we'll see them soon, I hope.

I think my mother is losing it. She got me a cake decorating kit (which is appropriate as I am always baking) and a check for.... $40.00.

Pretty stressed from having 12 people for a HUGE Christmas dinner, being out of money, other issues. Not the best Christmas ever. We survived, though. Massive migraine today, and I have a patient I have to see tomorrow.

Well - this may not seem thoughtful to some but I've wanted a laptop for a year or two now and hubby had me put one on layaway a couple of weeks before his bonus check came in. When we went to pick it up - Walmart had screwed up and put the wrong one on layaway and I didn't even catch it at the time (there were two side by side for the same price). The one they put on layway didn't have an HDMI port or whatever which was specifically why we'd picked the other one.

He insisted we buy the higher priced computer ($150 more) that had the HDMI which is funny cause it was originally my first choice but I was trying to be budget minded and careful with our money.

I was really surprised to see what my step mother picked out for me. I didn't think she knew me that well, but she picked me out the most beautiful dress that I would have picked for myself in a heartbeat. And this was the first year my father actually picked me out a piece of clothing that I liked. The rest of my presents I got were things that I had specifically asked for, so I was very grateful this year.

My mom, who's so close to me she almost acts like my twin, was the most thoughtful. She's been getting stuff for my future house, things for me to wear, etc. She's really sweet, and always knows what will make me happy.

So that covers comfort, entertainment and sexual needs

And that's only two weeks after giving me some great birthday gifts x

My boyfriend of nearly 3 years made a fleece tie blanket. It's easy to do, but not something I'd every expect from him. He picked out the fabric and cut/tied the whole thing on his own.

For Christmas, my partner paid the deposit on the engagement ring he wants for me. It's nothing big or fancy or expensive. It's just perfect, with leaves and a green sapphire.

Your husband is impressive to really seek out something related to one of your biggest interests! Your friends were very sweet, too!
