Not even eating a ton of candy??? :O!

Yesssss... My favorite time of the year. I haven't ever thrown a party, although I usually plan one on paper whenever I'm bored, just to try out different themes. I start this early in the year with projects; my family's house is always the spookiest on the street.

We do have one specialty yard decor that goes out every year. We do a ring of dancing yard ghosts, or sometimes a conga line through the graveyard. They're just 5 5-foot wooden stakes, 5 white twin sheets, 5 plastic bags stuffed with other bags, a black marker and some string. I've seen similar ghosts in magazines, but our ghosts have string tied under their heads to form necks, and all their hands are tied to something. The kids and adults are always super impressed. I should make tombstones with all their names and do a voiceover or something, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Ha, sorry, I can talk your ear off about this sort of thing. I love it.
