Those are the only two people I gift toys to. Except the SmartWand, I gifted it to my mom for her B-day, but that's because it's also labeled a massager. I'd never give her a dildo. Same goes for most everyone else I know. They simply don't have an interest in sex toys. Just like I don't have any interest in video games, so no matter how much I want to give them toys as gifts, it'd still be useless to them. I've just accepted that maybe in the future my close friends will take interest and if they do, I'd be happy to buy them something, but until then, oh well. I'll give them something personal, from the heart like their favorite dessert (made by me) or a product they've been wanting.

I haven't, but I would. It would have to be the right situation, where I knew a friend was looking for one or open to the idea. I don't see anything wrong with gifting a toy as long as your relationship with the person you're giving it to is a close one, and you know it will be well received.
