With kids in the house we have to hide Christmas presents prior to wrapping them, usually in the back of our closets or similar spot. Other times we'll put them less common spots and wouldn't you know it, we'll forget where we put it.

Haha I haven't but that reminds me of Christmas Vacation when Clark goes to hide his presents and finds an old gift he forgot about.

I always hide my presents in the same spot. I'm the youngest in my family so I don't worry about anyone trying to snoop.

I've found stuff that I'd hid the year before when I went to clean out closets or under beds. Christmas comes for my family throughout the year. lol

Yes, I have I have found them all but sometimes after Christmas, so just a a belated present. One year my now husband's family bought him a really expensive video game and lost it...found it about 2 weeks after Christmas in his mom's closet. I was in a panic about 2 weeks ago knowing I had bought these presents and couldn't find them, was glad it didn't take too long, but man am I good present hider lol

I think I did once, then I found it a few months later and give it to them then as a random gift.

I've bought things throughout the year with Christmas in mind and have forgotten or misplaced them, only to find them months after Christmas and end up giving them as birthday gifts instead!

I do this with everything, not just Christmas presents. I put things in a "safe place" and 2 weeks later I forget where that safe place is.

Ha, I'm having this problem right now! I hid some makeup for my mom, and now for the life of me I can't remember where I put it! I guess I have a few weeks to find it but if I don't it's no big deal, it was the stocking stuffer and not the main gift.
