I'm a V-day lover. It's just kinda special to me. We won't do anything huge or extremely expensive, but getting some alone time out to eat or something is very much needed on V-day! I have no idea what we'll plan this year though. Last year we just got a Red Robin near our area and I was dying to eat there for the 1st time so we shopped a little and went out to eat and let me tell you... I never stopped thinking about that damn bacon cheeseburger! LOL. It was the best! Haven't ate there since last year, but I'd love to again. Maybe that's what we'll do.

I've never used a Magic Wand, so that's what I asked for as my V-day present.

We don't have any solid plans because it's more like just another day for us. We're going to try and take a quick weekend away, but we've been planning that anyway. The fact that it happens to fall around Valentine's Day doesn't mean much.

Well, my birthday is right around Vday so we usually don't do huge gifts anymore. This year as a bundled chistmast/birthday/vda y gift my husband and I are going to Boston for a few days. On vday we are going to the Bruins game. We are probably going to the museum of fine arts which is totally for me but my husband is nice enough to endure it for the day

My Man and I don't do big things for days like this. We recently had our anniversary, and we just got take out Thai food, and gave each other some small gifts. (Christmas was just here, then our anniversary, then in a few weeks my birthday, THEN Valentine's Day. It's too much.)

I do wish he wouldn't buy me those miniature roses though, in the pot. I'm good with out door plants, but I HATE houseplants and I always end up killing the baby roses. I've told him I prefer fresh cut flowers. "But, they die." Yeah, so do the miniature roses in a pot. It's funny, both myself and his mother and my mother have repeatedly asked him NOT to buy us potted plants and he still does it. He likes houseplants, the rest of us have enough of them. (For me, NONE is enough.)

We'll probably have a nice dinner at home, watch some porn and screw. That's really all we do for Valentine's Day. We do that a lot anyway, so it isn't a big deal. I'll probably get some candy and.... a plant. (Which I will hate and then kill.)

If he likes houseplants why don't you get him a houseplant for Valentine's Day and let him be responsible for its lifespan?

The funny thing there is that miniature roses ARE outdoor plants! They don't survive in the house, but if you plant them out in a good spot where they can be sheltered from the worst of winter weather they will grow and act much like regular roses. Just with smaller blooms. But since they pot up so well and look so cute, they are often sold as "disposable" potted plants.

Our schedule will be fairly packed on Valentine's day, so likely we'll go out for an early dinner and enjoy a couple of hours together at home before we're off having to take care of other things again. I'm sure we'll make up for it on the weekend, though.

We started a new Valentine's date night where we go out to this killer chinese buffet, eat and get liquored up on sake and then walk over to the cute little movie theater that only shows two movies at a time. It was pretty awesome last year, we saw Sherlock Holmes.

It's not a big day for us. The only things we do to celebrate are avoid restaurants filled with celebrators and shopping for discount candy the day after!
