I still do a hand written THANK YOU note for gifts not coming from immediate family. Do you?

Seems the THANK YOU note is a dying art....one that should probably NOT die out as it is a very nice, civil and courteous thing to do. However, many people simply don't take the time to write them. How about YOU? Do YOU send THANK YOU notes , ever?

I love to do hand written thank you notes. But, I like to send (and receive) snail mail in general. A hand written note on a nice card can be a real keepsake.

I agree, it should NOT die out, but I'm afraid it is dying out. What was once a common courtesy is now mostly overlooked entirely.

We still write Thank You cards, it's the proper etiquette. I make sure my son remembers to do so whenever he received a gift. Thank You notes should not die out.
