In Memory......For Family and Friends We Have Lost & The Veterans Who Died To Keep America Free!!!

Memorial day is many things to different people. For many it is the kick off to summer; camping, a 3-4 day weekend and barbeques. A wonderfully happy weekend with family and friends!!

For me it is a day to appreciate the ultimate price paid by many men and women who have lost their lives in battle--in their quest to keep America free.

It is to remember my family and friends--and yes, pets--who have passed away and are no longer physically present. As long as they are in our hearts...they are always walking beside us in everything we do.

--Share your memories.
--Remember your loved ones.
--Give thanks to a veteran...living or passed.
--Celebrate the family fun.

We are lucky enough to have no lost family members in battle. One Great Uncle Johnny was lost during flight training during WWII.

My son is active duty USAF and many members of our family have served honorably and we honor them - as we should on Veteran's Day.
