What is or what are the most inappropriate costume(s) you've seen?

Listening to a radio show now and one caller mentioned Micheal Vick and a dog costume. Another caller mentioned (I can't believe this) "Sexy Nemo" (finding Nemo).

I heard Jul!a mention a radio station that talked about Chilean miner costumes. That is inappropriate to me. That and Katy Perry. Katy Perry is pretty much offensive to me anyway so I can't imagine actually dressing up like her for Halloween.

I saw the Marlotte's shirts and aprons at Hot Topic last time I walked by. My roomie is a total True Blood fan too!

I'm glad I don't know much about Katy Perry beyond the Sesame Street thing. She looks a lot like Zooey Deschanel.

There is sexy Sesame Street costumes out there that I think are a bit inappropriate. But I totally want one. The sexy cookie monster is adorable and naughty all at the same time.

But really, how fucked up is it to have a sexy big bird walking around?

Sexy Big Bird. That should horrify me, I know, but fanfiction has made me immune to all forms of shock value. I'm pretty sure the last of my innocence died when that Mr. Ed fanfic made the rounds a while back.

As for Katy Perry, it's a shame about that song, because she's hot. Has anyone seen the spoof version of her vid, featuring Karen Gillan? It's brilliant.

This was year's back but in early October 2003 as some of you may recall, Roy of Siefried and Roy was attacked and mamed by one of the act's famous white tigers. My boyfriend at the time was a sound tech and I went to work with him Halloween night at a bar that was having a band, but also a costume contest. Not one, not two, but THREE "Roy's" were there - black dress pants, white shirt, stuffed tiger stuck to them and lots of fake blood.

I showed my husband the Freddy Kruger costume and he said it was pretty hot. It's a bit less creepy than slutted-up Disney princesses or cartoon characters, honestly. =)

Since I am a mother here are mine:

The costumes that are for kids that have the exact. same. matching. costumes for moms are just horrid. Sorry, but why on earth would a mom wear the same exact costume as her three year old? Just so you all know I am referring to the sexy storybook characters and all...I just wish they would make the adult ones different from the kid ones.

Oh...and my 7 year old daughter wanted to get a "school girl" costume...you know the same ones you can buy at all the sex shops. Yes, they do make those in a child size 6 and 7. Nice, really tasteful for a small child.

I have to agree with the Sexy Sesame Street line. Those ones were a little too far in my book. Plus, as J's Alley mentioned, anything that is sexy... when worn by a kid. Even just seeing a little girl in fishnets skeeves me out a little bit.

That is horrifying! And I have to agree the mother and child matching costumes is a little weird.

I've actually seen some little game things where you have to look at pictures and guess which one is Katy Perry and which one is Zooey Deschanel. Same with Keira Knightly and Natalie Portman.

I was looking through a flyer for a local seasonal costume shop and thought there was an editing mistake, a verrrrry slutty adult costume mixed in with the kids costumes.
Nope. On closer inspection of the picture, it was a young girl, about my nephew's age (9) dressed in fishnets, a pleather mini skirt so short that there was a visible panty crotch (intentional) and fake prosthetic cleavage.

Now, I have a pretty sick sense of humor, but that is just not ok in my books. Prosthetic cleavage and panty shots on a young child?!

Even after throwing the flyer into the recycling, the heebie-jeebies won't go away.
