All party recipes welcome. I have a SUPER simple, SUPER loved quicky "treat". Take a graham cracker, crack it in half (or get TINY ones), pop a couple of TINY mini marshmallows on top. Put these in the microwave for about THREE seconds (no kidding...NO more), just enough to SLIGHTLY soften the marshmallow. Then I make up some DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS, mixed with some heavy cream (just a couple tablespoons per half cup of chips) and melt/mix/melt in microwave. I use a cooking glove (rubber..CLEAN) to hold the marshmallow and cracker together with a tong and dip this into the chocolate mix. I then place the totally chocolate covered marshmallow/cracker combo on wax paper and put these in the fridge. When it is time for "treats" I put them out....they disappear like magic. Simple "finger" Smores, as it were.

What is YOUR favorite "get together" recipe???

Our favorite is Sweet beans. Two cans of Bush's maple beans, brown sugar, maple cured bacon and maple sausage. Cook in crock pot all day, serve hot with Frito's. There is never any leftovers.
